We are also considering creating a Peace Path for bicycles - Berlin to Auschwitz
Berlin Stadt zum Auschwitz Memorial Museum
Europejski Marsz Pokoju – z Berlina do Auschwitz
This pathway would run for 650-675km and an amateur cyclist can cycle 50-70kms a day easily, thus making the journey about 12-14 days long.
The route would pass through Wroclaw/Breslau and Opole/Oppeln but there are many possible variations.

This new Peace Path between Berlin and Auschwitz will also have its own Guidebook (Information to be taken from
regional tourism boards and the ICEAH) and also the pathway will need to be signed/marked along the 675kms.
We aim to have this Peace Pathway between Berlin and Auschwitz ( and on to Krakow) open every summer (for 6months a year) and to be free without any cost - except that of accommodation in youth hostels along the way (15euros/night) – so that all of Europe can afford and come to Berlin and start their own Peace Cycle. To have American, Spanish, Korean, German and Croatian students all cycling beside each other, over a relaxed 675kms/14 day cycle to Auschwitz would surely be a most noble Platform to create.
