Daily Stages of the EPW

An overview of the EPW

After exploring Vienna ( and Bratislava), your peacewalk starts in Budapest. You will then head south westerly deep into Hungary to Lenti, a town famous for its thermal baths. The EPW then moves into Croatia, and from there, you will pass through the fairy-tale town of Varaždin.  After the day trip to Zagreb, the EPW goes into Slovenia’s famous wine region. From there, you will head to Ljubljana, Slovenia’s buzzing capital, and after visiting the world famous Lake Bled, the EPW winds its way downhill to Postonja and on to the Mediterranean Sea at Trieste, Italy.

Upon arrival in Italy, your 330 kilometer odyssey is completed! All in all, you will walk through and sleep in 5 (or 6)beautiful European countries, experience 5 rich histories & cultures, and revel in 5 incredible cuisines…….all on a shoe-string budget!
